The Belgian law on commercial practices and information and protection of the consumer of April 6, 2010, allows the buyer to inform the seller within 14 days of receiving the product (info@lightandshade.be) that he/she withdraws from the sale.

The goods must be returned in unopened packaging within 5 days of notification. Items that have been used, connected, tampered with, or modified by the buyer cannot be returned.

The product box may not be used as the shipping box. The product box must always be additionally packaged to avoid damage to the product box.

A copy of the invoice and a cover letter must be included with the return shipment. Lightandshade will refund the original invoice amount once we have received the returned item. The refund will be made to the card/account number or payment method used by the buyer to place the order. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs of the return shipment.

Lightandshade will only cover the return shipping costs if the buyer received an incorrect item. Lightandshade may refuse returned items or the refund thereof if the packaging has already been opened, the products have been damaged by the customer, or if the customer fails to return the items within 14 days of receipt of the return slip.

Any exchange or refund will only be made once the items have been returned and received at the return address.
